A C.A.F.E. (Circle of Adults Focusing on Education), is a collaborative stakeholder team, at the local school and/or school district level, created to address an identified need. C.A.F.E.s focus on ways to engage families and community with education issues in order to improve student achievement, particularly for students with disabilities (SWD) and/or students at risk of not graduating. This collaborative stakeholder team is comprised of family, educator, and community members who combine their knowledge of real-life family experiences, educator know-how, and community resources to develop solutions to identified problems. This C.A.F.E. Dialogue Implementation Guide will provide you with the tools and strategies that were used to impact Graduation and Career Readiness efforts in Georgia for students with and without disabilities.
