Registration is open for the ASPIRE Innovative Practices Forum that will be held at the Middle Georgia State College in Macon, Ga. (100 College Station Drive; Macon, GA 31206) on November 19, 2014 from 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Staff from participating ASPIRE districts, schools and GLRS implementing ASPIRE and other student-led IEP initiatives are invited to participate in this forum. Participants will attend a short presentation on each initiative and leave with a short outline of everything they will need to implement the practice with their students. It is suggested that at least two people from each district/school attend the workshop to be able to cover all of the sessions. Presentations will focus on district-wide Implementation, using technology in ASPIRE, and alternative methods for student participation. Presentation content will represent a variety of students with disabilities in grades Pre-K through twelve. Box lunches will be provided. Registration is limited to 200 participants on a first come first serve basis.
